Pastor Marie "Mel" Moreau is a graduate of Living Covenant Bible Institute where she studied for the ministry. In 2007, she founded Through His Eyes Ministry which is affliated with World Ministry Fellowship in Plano, Texas. Currently, she serves on the pastoral staff of Living Covenant Christian Fellowship in Silsbee, Texas.
Pastor Mel has a passion for the homeless who are living on the streets of the Golden Triangle in Southeast Texas. Her "Backpacks of Hope" Project provides basic toiletries, fast-food gift certificates, blankets, and a Bible to each homeless individual. The prayer needs of each person is a priority of Through His Eyes Ministry. Mel hopes to extend this ministry into the mission fields through the world.
Mel has spent many years as a Praise and Worship leader where she plays guitar and keyboard to glorify the Name of Jesus. She is also a frequent guest speaker at retreats and other Christian gatherings. Topics vary and include the "Power of the Anointing", "Healing", and "Spiritual Warfare." Mel is an active member of the Golden Triangle Chrysalis and Emmaus Communities. She currently serves as an Assistant Spiritual Director on the Chrysalis Steering Committee.
In the secular world, Mel holds a Masters Degree in Education and is an Education Specialist for Region 5 Education Service Center in Silsbee, Texas. She is also an International Consultant for Space Education and an active presenter for Johnson Space Center.
